Biography
Tyler Labine plays Dr. Iggy Frome on the NBC drama "New Amsterdam."Labine's Dr. Frome is an attending child psychiatrist who likes to think outside the box but is continually beaten down by the hospital system. Labine can also be seen on the new season of the BBC America series "Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency," starring opposite Elijah Wood and Samuel Barnett, as Sherlock Hobbs, the overly enthusiastic small-town sheriff.
Previously, Labine starred on the Hulu comedy series "Deadbeat" for three seasons. Prior to that, Labine was a series regular on NBC's "Animal Practice," CBS' "Mad Love," FX's "Sons of Tucson," ABC's "Invasion" and The CW's "Reaper." Labine is also the voice of Hunk on "Voltron" for Netflix.
On the big screen, Labine has starred alongside Alan Tudyk in the horror-comedy "Tucker and Dale vs. Evil." His additional credits include "The Boss," "Little Evil," "Rise of the Planet of the Apes," "A Good Old-Fashioned Orgy" and "Super Troopers 2." He can also be seen in the independent films "Little Star," "Someone Marry Barry" and "Killing Winston Jones."
Labine's most recent film was "Escape Room," produced by Neal H. Moritz and Ori Marmur, starring opposite Logan Miller, Deborah Ann Wall and Taylor Russell.

First off, I think you are an astounding actor. Every time I see you on the screen I become enthralled. From Reaper to Tucker and Dale vs Evil, to your scene in Zack and Miri make a porno , I am amazed and envious of the way you make characters and actions so natural and comfortable, no matter how ridiculous or bizarre. You really inspire me, and I thank you for doing what you do.
Secondly, I will be getting my demo reel made soon, and I was looking for your reel to give me an idea how it should look. If you know where I could view it, I would very much appreciate it.
