Biography
East was a devoted dancer and model before gracing television screens across the country. She has been featured in campaigns for Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Terez and Ivivva by Lululemon. She is also an accomplished dancer, trained in classical ballet and contemporary. At the age of five, East got involved in musical theater, which led her to put her talents to good use in productions such as "Annie," "The Nutcracker" and the thriller "Wait Until Dark." With a few years of theater under her belt, she transitioned to television, making her TV debut on the hit HBO series "True Blood" playing Sheriff Andy's daughter. Since then she has booked several projects, including Disney Channel's "Liv and Maddie: Cali Style"; Audience Network's "Ice," alongside Cam Gigandet, Jeremy Sisto, Ray Winstone and Donald Sutherland; and most recently, MarVista's hit "Jessica Darling's It List" as the lead, Jessica Darling.
In her free time, East enjoys watching different types of films, especially foreign/arthouse films, trying to watch at least a new one each night. She also loves pursuing a healthy lifestyle, shopping for vintage clothing, visiting museums and amusement parks with monster roller coasters. She also has a special place in her heart for elephants and hopes to help spread the word about the dangers of elephant trekking. The multifaceted young performer knows the importance social media plays in interacting with fans and has garnered a loyal following through her platforms, as well as her YouTube channel where she posts about her love for cooking, fashion and life in general.
