Very much over 13 at 86!!! - but not sure of what route I should take to get a message to you to express my appreciation of your lovely piece in Stuff about your great friend Nigel.
Many years ago I worked in one of the labs in the Riverside building of Christchurch Hospital - I used that bridge daily and have fond memories of many a long chat with Nigel - particularly recalling his long discussions and queries re the correct placing of "you and me" and "you and I" in sentences. He was determined to get it right. Sadly, technology with the advent of automatic gates has robbed many of us of such gentle joys.
I was so very glad to learn that he had such great happiness in his later life.
