About the Show
DR. CAL LIGHTMAN (Tim Roth) is the world's leading deception expert. By analyzing facial expressions and involuntary body language, he can read feelings ranging from hidden resentment to sexual attraction to jealousy. His work gives him the knowledge and skill set to expertly mislead others as well as detect lies. But as Lightman well knows, his scientific ability is both a blessing and a curse in his personal life, where family and friends deceive each other as readily as criminals and strangers do.
Lightman heads a team of experts at The Lightman Group who assists federal law enforcement, government agencies, local police and private individuals with their most difficult cases. DR. GILLIAN FOSTER (Kelli Williams) is a gifted psychologist and Lightman's professional partner who brings balance to the partnership by looking at the bigger picture while Lightman focuses on the details. He needs her guidance and insight into human behavior, whether he knows it or not. ELI LOKER (Brendan Hines) is Lightman's lead researcher who is fascinated by herd mentality and group think. He says everything on his mind and often pays the price. Lightman's protege RIA TORRES (Monica Raymund) is one of the few "naturals" in the field of deception detection. Her raw, untrained ability to read people makes her a force to be reckoned with. Meanwhile, Lightman discovers the truth is harder to face at home, as his teenage daughter, EMILY LIGHTMAN (Hayley McFarland), begins dating.
In Season Two, cast members from the critically acclaimed series "The Shield" reunited in an episode in which Lightman and his ex-wife, ZOE (Jennifer Beals), faced the possibility that they sent an innocent man to his death. Also, Lightman was called to testify in the trial of an attractive widow accused of murdering her much older husband; Torres' half-sister, who was incarcerated in a juvenile correctional facility, re-entered Torres' life when a fellow inmate mysteriously disappeared; and when a young woman died during a campaign rally in Virginia, the Lightman Group was hired to assess whether the case was a failed assassination attempt or a well-disguised murder plot.
The upcoming season focuses on testing the relationships and dynamics of The Lightman Group as a wedge is driven between Lightman and Foster, creating devastating consequences for the group's future.

Hello, my name is Estelle and I'm 18 years old and yes I'm french from France (nobody is perfect I know lol). As you can see I can speak a very good english and in real life I haven't the french accent. I'm a 5'7" black girl with brown eyes and black hair... I have some experience in acting thanks to shorts movies I did and photo shoot. I think of being someone who tries to be in closer of the feelings, to arouse in each something whether it is the laughter or the tears! I am someone of been incensed and whom the work does not thus displease I always give myself to 110 % in what I make even more in the cinema because since I was a little girl that was always my passion and my dream. I am rather original, rather easy to live, I support well the criticism and with me we have fun non-stop.
All this is only a small part of me, but I think of credit note to offer a lot if you help me to realize this dream.

I took two theater arts classes in High School, I have a bit of stage, I'll admit it...I'm a sarcastic person, but makes for my personality. I have good communication skills. I have had a little experience acting in school plays, even assisting as stage manager as well as having two small parts in a play. I love having fun on sets and meeting new people. Hello, im Jillie; I am 13 (soon to be 14) years old and love the show. I love the shows theme about the art of reading emotions by just a sudden lip movement or hand gesture. I also love the choses for the lead roles. Jill Foster would have to be my favorite though. Anyway, This show is amazing and it would be a great honor, and a privilege (and just about any other word that fits that criteria) to work along side you!
(Also i have been in my school plays as big roles and i have been in drama for 2 years).

Hello, my name is Brenda. I'm a 15 year old Australian, I love Tim Roth!! I first seen him in Reservoir Dogs and I know that wasn't his first film but thats where I seen him and totally fell in love with him, I think I watched it everyday for like a month........anyway I would love to be considered for a part on the show, anything would be amazing like as an extra or something, I would so did it for free.
