About the Show
The contemporary family comedy "Dog With A Blog" is told from a canine perspective and follows new step-siblings Tyler, Avery and Chloe, and their parents, Bennett and Ellen, as they adjust to life as a newly blended family. The biggest surprise, however, comes when the kids discover that their recently adopted shelter dog, Stan, talks and blogs.
Tyler and Avery are typical teenage siblings and they're slowly learning how to communicate with each other, whether via a sign-up sheet to reserve the living room or in between food fights in the back of the family van.
From the moment they discover Stan's remarkable skill, Tyler and Avery agree on one thing: Stan's secret must be kept just that... a secret, even from their parents. Chloe is the wild card and, after she overhears him, thinks it's completely normal to have a dog that talks... Ellen and psychologist dad Bennett think Chloe just has an overactive imagination.
As Stan inadvertently finds ways to get himself, Tyler and Avery into hairy situations - like refusing to be friends with the neighbor's dog or volunteering to be the school mascot - the kids learn just how important family is and how much they need to work together to keep Stan's secret safe.
Starring are G Hannelius ("Den Brother," "Good Luck Charlie") as Avery, Blake Michael ("Lemonade Mouth") as Tyler, Francesca Capaldi ("A.N.T. Farm") as Chloe, Beth Littleford ("Crazy, Stupid Love," "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart") as Ellen, Regan Burns ("Wizards of Waverly Place") as Bennett and Stephen Full ("I'm in the Band") as the voice of Stan.
Stan is portrayed by two canine actors, Mick, a Samoyed mix, and Kuma, a Husky/Golden Retriever/Border Collie mix, both of whom were adopted from a shelter.
The series is executive-produced by Emmy-winning producer Michael B. Kaplan (""Frasier"," "Roseanne," "Doogie Howser, M.D." and Disney XD's "I'm In The Band"). "Dog With A Blog" is a production of It's a Laugh Productions, Inc. It carries a TV-G parental guideline.
