Destiny xoxo Posted by destiny (2010-03-19) 2697 Hi everyone,
I played a homicide detective in season three just as an extra, it's funny I haven't really gone out of my way to see myself on TV, I guess I'm a little afraid of rejection. I met Fred, and a few other supporting cast members. I also played a Miami Tourist, though I don't think that episode has been released yet. The shooting site is huge. I hope I get called again, I rather liked making the staff laugh. If I had a spoken role ever, I'd either like to be an evil henchman or a detective. I'd probably want to be a good guy who can fight well, even if it meant a few sit-ups to flatten my belly, but I'm not getting implants, I quite enjoy my bald head. though I may consider eye surgery. P.S. To the IPS crew, if you ever see me looking at you funny, I'm studying your gate, or the way you stand or walk. I'M NOT CHECKING YOU OUT! Just in case there was ever any doubt in anyone's minds, you should all know I used to be in the body repair business. Also, what are the chances I would be in a third episode being that I have already been in two? K bye miss ya all. And I hope to see you soon. Posted by Jeffrey Kleiner (2010-04-07) 2790 Almost hate to list it on my resume, but I appeared a few times in the movie "Convoy" filmed back in the late 70s. I lost touch with the contact who got me into doing that, so am not really on a list of extras now. been thinking of getting back in though. Posted by Brian Ditmer (2010-08-10) 3296 Hello. I am writing to let you know about how disappointed we are in last night's episode of In Plain Sight. As I write this, I am saddened that with all of the knowledge and literature that is exists about the awareness of people with disabilities that the use of the word retarded was used at all and especially used in such an offensive way in the airing of the first show of the season of In Plain Sight. We sat down to watch one of our favorite shows from last season and were so excited about its return but then we were quickly disappointed in the use of such an offensive word by the main character of the show.
We were wanting to be entertained, not hurt. We have a beautiful nine year old with Down Syndrome that has achieved so much and is capable of so many wonderful things. That is why it is so amazing to me that the entertainment industry does not realize how hurtful the use of the word retarded is to families that have a loved one with a disability . We work so hard to make society realize just how wonderful our children are and then we have shows that use language like this to put such a negative connotation to people with disabilities.
