Will Ferrell was born on July 16, 1967, and is a member of the famed Frat Pack, which includes other actors like Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller, the Wilson Brothers, and Jack Black. These actors have collaborated on many comedic projects together.

Will became interested in performing while studying at school. He started as a member of the Los Angeles comedy/improvisation group, The Groundlings and some of the members of the group where from the cast of Saturday Night Live (1975). Will appeared on several television programs, such as 'Strangers with Candy' (1999), 'Grace Under Fire' (1993), and 'Living Single' (1993) while he was at The Groundlings.

Hollywood Calling
Come 1995, and Will was selected as a feature cast member at 'Saturday Night Live,' during the show's quick re-casting. Soon enough he was declared as arguably the worst cast member ever, during his first season. But Will's talents to impersonate people came to his rescue. He is considered quite possibly as the greatest 'Saturday Live Night' cast member ever. Soon, Will rose the ladder of success to become one of Hollywood's' biggest comedy superstars.

At 6'3", Will is tall and has blond clean-cut good looks. Like many of his former and present team members at 'SNL,' Will's move to the big screen was inevitable. Soon he found himself playing the role of Mustafa in the hit comedy 'Austin Powers, International Man of Mystery' (1997) and its sequels. In 1998, Will starred in 'A Night at the Roxbury,' which was based on 'SNL' swingers characters. Will also acted in supporting roles for comedies such as 'Dick' and 'Superstar' (both 1999) and also appeared in 'The Ladies Man' (2000) and 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back' (2001).

The year 2001, was a year of reckoning for Will. He was nominated for an Emmy in the category of Outstanding Individual Performance and Outstanding Writing on a Variety, Musical, or Comedy Program. In 2002, Will announced he was quitting 'SNL' in favor of a movie career. True to his goal, he acted in the hit comedy 'Old School' (2003) and also enacted the lead role in the festival themed 'Elf' the same year. After these two successful films, Will segued into a cameo role in the cop comedy 'Starsky & Hutch' (2004).

His next major appearance came in 'Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgandy' (2004) and in the Woody Allen movie 'Melinda and Melinda' (2005), and comedy 'Kicking & Screaming' was released soon after.

The remake of the 60's popular sitcom 'Bewitched' (2005) was Will's next stop where he was paired opposite the gorgeous Nicole Kidman. The same year he also scored another terrific cameo role in 'Wedding Crashers' and the busy year ended on a high note for Will with the remake of Broadway-smash 'The Producers.' In 2006, Will was seen in T'alladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby' and 'Stranger Than Fiction,' both comedies.
