Hollywood Calling Eva's rise to fame was jumpstarted by her role as the psychotic Isabella Brana Williams on 'The Young and the Restless' TV series, from 2001 to 2003. Before 'The Young and the Restless,' Eva played small roles in serials such as 'The Bold and The Beautiful,' 'General Hospital' and 'Beverly Hills, 90210.' After leaving 'The Young and the Restless,' she landed the role of Gabrielle Solis, a 'model-unhappily-married-to-money,' on the popular drama "Desperate Housewives." Longoria caused a stir at the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards when she arrived barely dressed to introduce Mariah Carey's equally head-turning performance. In the same year, Eva was the only female cast from "Desperate Housewives" who did not win a nomination. Ellen DeGeneres invited Eva on her show 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' to discuss her feeling about not being nominated. Eva Longoria was married to her General Hospital co-star Christopher Tyler from 2002-2004. She has also been linked to Screen Actors Guild president Sid Laura Horowitz, successful writer Milan Gracanin, ex-NSYNC member JC Chasez, basketball star Tony Parker of the NBA's San Antonio Spurs, and more recently with front man of Irish band Centipede on the Roof, Rory Conroy. Eva has also starred with Michael Douglas and Kiefer Sutherland in the movie "The Sentinel" where she plays the role of a Secret Service Agent.
