Elisha Cuthbert
This hot blond babe is currently one of the young actors to 'look out for' in Hollywood. She has perfected the art of playing the damsel in distress act, better than any other actor from her generation. Canadian born, Cuthbert is the first child of her parents Kevin and Patricia Cuthbert and was born on November 30th 1982.

A former child star, Cuthbert's flame of success began to burn bright when she successfully anchored the children's television series 'Popular Mechanics for Kids,' while also starting in numerous other Canadian productions including the horror theme based series for children, 'Are You Afraid of the Dark.' Subsequently in 1989, she began her modeling career by appearing in many children's clothing lines.

Cuthbert moved to Los Angeles, California at the age of 17 to pursue her acting career, and made her American television debut in the highly acclaimed action thriller '24.' She played the character of Kim Bauer.

Hollywood Calling
In 2001, Cuthbert was part of the Canadian TV movie 'Lucky Girl.' She received a Gemini Award for her performance in the movie.

Her award winning performance only helped her garner tiny roles in movies such as 'Love Actually' (2003), 'Old School' (2003) and soon got the opportunity to be the leading actor in the teen comedy film 'The Girl Next Door' (2004). She has gained a wide range of exposure in multiple genres and mediums. The year 2005, Cuthbert starred in her next big-screen outing with 'House of Wax.' Her co-stars in the movie were Paris Hilton and Chad Michael Murray. The movie flopped badly, though her role in the movie was appreciated. The debacle of 'House of Wax' didn't dim her enthusiasm and soon she played a temperamental cheerleader in 'The Quiet.' 'The Quiet' premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival.

She has appeared in the music video for Weezer's "Perfect Situation" in early 2006. Besides this, she has also done music videos for Bon Jovi (Have A Nice Day) and in a small role in Paris Hilton's music video for the song "Nothing In This World".

Currently, Cuthbert is working on three feature films. In 'Captivity,' a thriller, she plays a fashion model held captive by a psychopath. In 'He Was a Quiet Man' she plays the role of a quadriplegic. And finally, in 'Cat Tale,' an animated film, Cuthbert has lent her voice to Cleo a rich cat. 'Cat Tale' is slated for a 2007 release.
